Caseworker / Police Station Accredited Representative – Sexual Offences Team

A leading and well-established law firm is seeking a Police Station Accredited Caseworker to join their specialist Sexual Offences Team based in Leeds. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work exclusively on sexual offences and serious criminal defence matters within a highly experienced team of six professionals.

The successful candidate will handle predominantly privately funded cases, with some legal aid matters. The role offers the chance to develop specialist expertise in one of the most sensitive and challenging areas of criminal law.

This position would suit a confident and motivated Police Station Accredited Representative and Crown Court Caseworker who is looking to specialise in sexual offences work and take the next step in their legal career.

Candidate Requirements

  • Police Station Accreditation (PSAR) – essential.
  • Experience in criminal defence, ideally with some exposure to sexual offences or serious crime – But NOT essential
  • Excellent client communication, analytical, and drafting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied caseload under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel nationally for voluntary interviews and court support.
