Legal Assistant – Conveyancing Team
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

As a Legal Assistant in the Conveyancing Team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive support to Conveyancing Solicitors, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the team. This role encompasses various responsibilities, from client interactions to document preparation, contributing to the success of conveyancing transactions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide full support to Conveyancing Solicitors, ensuring efficient operation.
- Prepare correspondence using the case management system.
- Attend to clients via telephone and in person, maintaining excellent communication.
- Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
- Arrange scanning and photocopying of paperwork.
- Prepare legal reports, including mortgage reports, search reports, and title reports for clients.
- Conduct title checks on new contract packs, raising and responding to enquiries on sale transactions.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, and banks on all aspects of sale and purchase transactions.
- Carry out exchange of contracts and prepare files for completion.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Conveyancing.
