Criminal Defence Solicitor – Duty & Crown Court

Location: Hayes | Hybrid | Full-time

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading criminal defence firms, handling high-profile and complex criminal cases across London. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified solicitors or those looking to take the next step into Duty Solicitor work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients at police stations and Magistrates’ Courts.
• Conduct Crown Court advocacy and instruct Counsel where required.
• Manage your own caseload, including legal aid and private clients.
• Draft legal documents and prepare cases for trial.

Candidate Requirements:

• Duty Solicitor status with Police Station Accreditation desirable but not essential.
• Ambition to progress in Duty Solicitor work.
• Experience managing your own caseload.
• Strong advocacy, client care, and time management skills.
• Confidence working on complex criminal cases.
