I’m looking for a newly qualified solicitor who is exceptionally motivated to follow a Duty Solicitor pathway. This is a rare opportunity for an NQ with a clear plan to specialise in court work and magistrates’ court representation.

The Candidate

• Newly qualified solicitor with ambition to specialise in criminal law and become a duty solicitor
• Motivated, proactive, and driven to develop a strong court presence
• Experienced in criminal law (minimum 4 years prior experience in training or support roles preferred)
• Committed to professional growth and ready to thrive in a traditional, structured law firm environment
• Excellent communication skills, client-focused, and able to manage complex caseloads under pressure
