Family Law Partner

Our client is a full-service, award-winning national law firm with offices in London, Manchester and Liverpool. The London office is home to over 45 partners and is part of a wider firm of over 500 people. They have a unique opportunity for an additional Family Law Partner with a following that will enhance the team’s offering and contribute to business development. The ideal candidate will join them at Fixed Share level, with a following of c. £200-400k (of Family clients or cross-referrals to other departments) and a proven track record at a reputable firm of growing a London client base.

The firm has a growing reputation in central London and are recognised as fierce and reputable competitors by magic circle peers. The partners have a range of experience and skills, including a stellar reputation in HNW and UHNW circles, and a following and practice from the Gulf States and Saudi, Monaco, City of London, and as such have represented public figures, politicians, musicians, and sports personalities. They handle disputes relating to significant assets, often with trust structures and international elements, and due to the high profile of their clients, the firm’s Family lawyers are regularly featured in the press as experts in advising on financial matters and children disputes, including the Financial Times, local press and numerous online resources.
 
The London Family department currently comprises 4 partners and 8 lawyers, supported by two trainee solicitors and two PAs. The Family department and the London office generally has seen strong growth since opening 5 years ago and the firm continues to invest in developing their reputation in the London market.

They new Family Law Partner will need to have strong BD and technical skills, and in return, they will receive support from their experienced Solicitors and Associates, as well as working collaboratively with the existing partner team, and benefit from a dedicated Head of PR and Client Relationship Partner in the London office to help service existing clients and continue to grow their following.

The firm encourages connectivity their other regional teams to open the opportunity for national cross-referrals.
