They now have a unique opportunity for a Paralegal to join their Family department which is headed by a respected leader in the field. The work encompasses a broad range of family work including nuptial agreements, financial claims on divorce, financial provision for children and private law children work (domestic and international).
The successful candidate will be working directly with partners and other lawyers in the Group as well as assisting with general work for the Group including attending at Court and client meetings, preparing first drafts of letters/court documents, undertaking research and preparing bundles, costs schedules, assisting with preparation of bills and some administrative tasks.
Candidates should have a strong academic record and have completed the LPC. They must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience of working within a family practice in a law firm.
Additionally, the ideal Family Paralegal will demonstrate the following:
• Strong academics (2:1 degree)
• Strong technical skills with experience of using Excel, Word, Outlook
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• The ability to work well under pressure and to adapt and be flexible
• Team player
• A confident, outgoing and enthusiastic approach to their work
