Serious Fraud & Organised Crime Solicitor

UK Leading Criminal Defence Firm

If you’ve chosen a career in criminal law, you didn’t do it for ordinary cases – you did it to make an impact. To tackle challenges that matter. To work on cases that shape the law itself. This is that opportunity.

We’re recruiting for one of the UK’s most respected criminal defence firms, nationally recognised in independent directories and by The Times Best Law Firms. They are known for handling some of the most complex, high-profile criminal cases in the country. And now, they’re looking for someone like you to join their Serious Fraud & Organised Crime team.

Whether you’re newly qualified (0–3 years PQE) or already building serious experience (3+ years PQE), this is a chance to step into a world of sophisticated, challenging, and highly impactful cases.

The Role You’ll be immersed in cases involving:

  • White collar crime and fraud
  • Asset recovery
  • Organised crime

You won’t just be part of the process – you’ll shape the strategy, work directly with senior specialists, and handle complex, digitally served evidence that tests every ounce of your skill. You’ll gain exposure to legislation like the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, Serious Crime Act 2015, and Criminal Finance Act 2017, and contribute to cases that make headlines and set precedent.

Who You Are

  • You have a strong academic background and an interest or experience in serious fraud/organised crime.
  • You can manage your own caseload with confidence and minimal supervision.
  • You excel at legal research, drafting, and analysis.
  • You thrive under pressure but never compromise on client care or quality.

Why This Is the Opportunity You’ve Been Waiting For Because this isn’t just a job – it’s a chance to grow alongside the best, tackle cases that challenge you intellectually and professionally, and build a career in a team that truly values collaboration and expertise.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Competitive salary and clear career progression
  • Life & Critical Illness cover
  • 24 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising to 30 with service)
  • Hybrid working opportunities
  • Comprehensive training and mentoring
  • A supportive, collaborative team culture with regular socials

Not exactly what you’re looking for? Or just exploring your options? Let’s set up a call – I’d love to chat about the firm, the role, and see if this could be the right fit for you.
