A dynamic and forward-thinking law firm on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre are looking to recruit a Head of Department to oversee their private client team.  With a great reputation in the local community this firm also have strong levels of staff retention and are proud of their hard working and dedicated staff who in turn make them a trusted partner for their clients.

As the Head of Private Client, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and future development of the department. If you’re an individual who is confident in handling all aspects of private client work, including Wills, Probate, Estate Planning, inheritance tax planning, and trust creation then this could be the role for you.

As head of the team you will mentor and manage other solicitors and junior team members, providing guidance, supervision and feedback to support their professional growth. Alongside this you will manage and drive forward your own files mainly across probate, trusts and estate management.
As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate leadership experience and will ideally be STEP qualified, however this is not essential. On offer is a competitive salary relative to experience with some great benefits including 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays with Christmas shutdown (not taken out of your entitlement), ability to buy and sell holidays, hybrid working, bonus scheme, pension scheme and free parking.
