Motor Claims Solicitor (3 yr+ PQE)

They’ve been at the forefront of defendant law for many years, delivering innovative, high quality legal services to their clients which include insurance and corporate clients, and they cover practice areas that include all insurance business lines, international work, and subrogation and recoveries through claims handling and litigation services.
They have a fantastic opportunity for a 3 year+ PQE Solicitor with Motor Claims experience to join their motor team. The successful Solicitor will manage their own caseload, working closely with Insurers, their Insureds and Corporate Clients, providing technical advice and added value services for the client, whilst providing an outstanding service. There is also the opportunity to supervise Paralegals/Legal Assistants within the team, and to support senior members of the team on higher value and more complex claims.
Main responsibilities of this position will include explaining the law and acting upon instructions, whilst providing proactive advice and pragmatic guidance in order to reach agreement, and to evaluate the claim and advise on the next steps to formulate an opinion on the prospects of success.
In order to successfully work in this position, candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 3 years qualified Solicitor experience, applicable pre-accident protocols, Civil Procedure Rules, and court processes, a comprehensive understanding of claims procedures, products and services, and how these can be applied for the most effective results, a comprehensive understanding of pre-accident protocols, court processes and terminology, and good understanding of the MOJ requirements and the cost implications thereof. It goes without saying that you should also have a proven ability to assess legal liability, causation and damages and the need for investigation or rehabilitation, initiative to overcome issues and implement solutions, and the ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail.
