Job Title: Paralegal / Newly Qualified Solicitor (Multi-Track)
Location: Wilmslow
Salary: DOE

My client is currently seeking a Paralegal with experience in multi-track cases or a Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) with a background in Personal Injury, particularly within the Multi-Track arena. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in securing a training contract or for an NQ Solicitor looking to further their career in a supportive, dynamic team.

About the Role:

You will work closely under the supervision of a Director and Partner, taking on delegated tasks while aligning with company policies and legal requirements. The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement between home and our work hub at our Wilmslow office. We are committed to supporting your growth, and you will be given responsibility to develop your skills while managing a caseload.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Progressing cases efficiently and proactively
  • Liaising with clients, experts, barristers, and third-party solicitors
  • Handling pre- and post-issue procedures in a timely and cost-effective manner, pursuing cases to conclusion
  • Completing actions on Proclaim Action List within set deadlines
  • Reviewing and summarising medical and personnel records
  • Maintaining client files in accordance with Lexcel standards
  • Managing tasks through Proclaim and ensuring accurate time recording
  • Attending clients, taking instructions, and preparing cases
  • Implementing recommendations from monthly file reviews

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Solid experience in managing a diverse caseload autonomously
  • Confidence in advocacy and litigation
  • Clear understanding of clinical negligence law and protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent client care, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results
  • Organised and able to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to execute case planning and strategies
  • Experience with Proclaim is desirable, but not essential
  • Previous experience in supervision is advantageous
  • A proactive team player who thrives in a small team environment
  • Desire to contribute to the growth of a dynamic team
