OIC Team Leader

My client is currently recruiting for a OIC Team Leader to join their expanding Personal Injury department.

As the Team Leader of their OIC team, you will play a pivotal role in supervising, developing, and coaching team members. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of the department, guaranteeing that the team provides the highest level of service to your clients. You will oversee the progression of disputed claims through the Official Injury Claim Portal (OIC Portal) accurately and efficiently, from initial submission to final court hearings. While working with meticulous attention to detail, you will also collaborate effectively within the team, managing both Liability Admitted and Liability Disputed cases.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Manage team capacity and distribute workloads evenly.
  • Support, develop, and motivate team members through regular 1-2-1 meetings and group sessions.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality service at all times.
  • Act as an ambassador for the firm’s values.
  • Progress your own caseload efficiently, providing professional legal advice to clients while managing their expectations.
  • Oversee the maintenance of up-to-date caseloads and excellent work quality among team members.
  • Work to deadlines/targets and prioritize a varied caseload effectively.

About You:

  • Ability to positively motivate and support team members.
  • Clear, focused, and determined approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communicator at all levels of the business.
  • Experience within personal injury and credit hire.
  • Previous experience in OIC / MOJ is preferred.
  • Competent working with case management systems, with good knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
