Exciting Opportunity in Private Wealth Law
Our client is a Legal 500 law firm, and they have an opportunity for a Private Wealth Solicitor to join their dynamic and award-winning Private Wealth team based in Manchester. The successful candidate will enjoy access to high-value, complex work and a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages professional growth and autonomy.
The position focuses on advising high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and trustees on matters such as lifetime and estate planning, inheritance tax mitigation, estate administration, and the formation and management of trust structures.
The successful candidate will work closely with financial advisors, accountants, and private banks to provide tailored and holistic legal advice. The role also offers the opportunity to engage with clients outside the office, develop specialisms, and actively participate in business development activities.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales (1 – 5 PQE) with:
- Experience in estate and tax planning, drafting wills, probate, and estate administration.
- Familiarity with relevant tax legislation and trust structures, including their establishment, administration, and taxation.
- Strong communication and autonomy in managing a caseload.
- A STEP qualification is preferred but not essential, with financial support available for obtaining it.
