A reputable and well-established law firm in Leicester is seeking an experienced Qualified Conveyancer or Licensed Conveyancer to join their expanding team. The firm is recognized for delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services and is looking for a skilled conveyancer to manage a busy and varied residential property caseload.
Role Overview:
As a Qualified or Licensed Conveyancer, you will handle a diverse range of residential property transactions, managing cases from instruction through to completion. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth, timely, and compliant transactions, providing excellent service and advice to clients throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Management: Manage a portfolio of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
- Client Communication: Provide clear, consistent, and professional legal advice to clients, keeping them informed at each stage of the transaction.
- Document Drafting: Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Compliance: Ensure all transactions meet legal requirements and adhere to industry regulations, staying up-to-date with changes in conveyancing law.
- Problem Solving: Efficiently resolve any issues that arise during the conveyancing process, offering practical solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient case progression.
- Post-Completion Tasks: Handle Land Registry registrations and other post-completion formalities.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Qualified Conveyancer (CILEx) or Licensed Conveyancer
- Proven experience managing residential conveyancing matters independently
- Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
- Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple transactions with attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with case management software
- Proactive and organized, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
