Residential Conveyancing Assistant

  • Bradford
  • Permanent
  • £20,000 - £26,000 per annum

I am seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join the busy residential department of my client, an established multi-service law firm based in Bradford city centre.

Working alongside a Conveyancing fee earner, the successful candidate will ideally possess recent experience of dealing with the end to end conveyancing process.

Candidates must have a working knowledge of sales and purchases and be able to undertake a full range of duties from opening new files to dealing with completion and registration formalities including undertaking searches, liaising with all parties, issuing sale contracts, dealing with enquiries, incoming monies and preparation of monthly bills.

Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills are essential along with a flexible approach and the ability to work well within a team in an open plan environment. Experience of new build is advantageous.

What’s in it for me?

They offer all the benefits of working for a large, national firm, such as focussed career progression and wide-ranging opportunities to get involved in business development, alongside the friendly and down to earth ethos of a smaller firm, where you get to know everyone.

Alongside salary, benefits on offer include:

25+ days annual leave plus statutory holidays with option to purchase additional days; pension; life assurance; employee assistance programme; interest free travel loans; Perkbox.

They expect you to work hard, but they understand that you have a life and commitments outside of work. Making sure that their staff have a good work/life balance is a priority. They want their staff to enjoy their time at work and encourage firmwide social events and activities throughout the year including summer BBQs, Christmas parties, charity walks and after-work drinks.
