Criminal Defence Trainee / Paralegal with a Passion for Social Media!!
We are looking to recruit a dynamic Trainee, Paralegal, or Solicitor for one of Merseyside’s largest specialist criminal litigation practices. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a demonstrable passion for social media, who could help bring the firm to life online and potentially become the face of the firm on Instagram and TikTok.
About the Firm:
The practice has expanded significantly over the years and now comprises Directors, Higher Court Advocates, Solicitors, Consultants, Police Station Accredited Representatives, Caseworkers, and Support staff – all practising to the highest standard in criminal litigation. The team is committed to protecting clients’ rights and achieving the best possible outcomes. Facing criminal charges can be overwhelming and stressful; this firm is dedicated to guiding clients through these challenging times with expertise, dedication, and integrity.
The Role:
- Work alongside the legal team handling all aspects of criminal defence.
- Contribute to the social media strategy, creating engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Potentially act as the online face of the firm.
- Assist with case preparation, client communication, and legal research.
- Opportunities for training and development, including SQE or CILEX pathways.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified or soon-to-be-qualified legal professional with a genuine interest in criminal law.
- Someone with proven social media experience or creativity, able to translate legal expertise into compelling online content.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to participate in client-focused work, including evenings and call-outs if required.
Location: Merseyside
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience (£28,000–£30,000 ideal for trainees/paralegals)
