Senior Conveyancer

Location: Leicester

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Working Pattern: Full-time

An established and growing Residential Conveyancing team in Leicester is looking for an experienced Senior Conveyancer to join the team and play a key role in its continued development.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own caseload but is also ready to take on greater responsibility within a team. You'll be involved in managing and developing the wider residential conveyancing function, supporting colleagues and helping maintain a high level of service for both clients and referrers.

The role

You'll handle a varied residential property caseload, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• New-build transactions
• Remortgages
• Equity release
• Transfers of equity
• Managing client and referrer relationships
• Supporting the development and performance of the wider team
• Ensuring files are managed efficiently and in line with compliance requirements

About you

We're looking for someone with strong residential conveyancing experience who is confident working in a busy environment and capable of managing their own workload with minimal supervision.

You'll ideally have experience of managing or supervising a team, alongside strong organisational and compliance skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are important, particularly when dealing with clients and professional referrers.

You'll also need:

• Proven experience within residential conveyancing
• Confidence managing a varied caseload
• Previous team management or supervisory experience
• Strong IT and case management system skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Commercial awareness and confidence with business development
• A proactive approach to developing client and referrer relationships

Formal qualification is not essential. If you have the right level of experience but are not currently qualified, there is scope for the firm to support your continued development through routes such as the CLC or SQE.
