Private Client Solicitor

An established, highly regarded Legal 500 firm is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor with over 4 years' PQE to join its growing team in Lincoln.

The Role

You will manage a varied Private Client caseload, delivering tailored advice to individuals and families on a range of wealth preservation and succession matters. Responsibilities will include:

• Advising on wills, estate planning, inheritance and succession matters.
• Managing estate administration from initial instructions through to final distribution, including complex estates where appropriate.
• Providing advice on inheritance tax, tax-efficient wealth planning and asset protection.
• Advising on the creation, administration and ongoing management of trusts.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering clear, sensitive and commercially minded advice.
• Managing files independently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of service.
• Supporting business development activities and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
• Providing guidance and day-to-day support to trainees and less experienced colleagues, helping them develop their technical knowledge and confidence.
• Contributing to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and promoting best practice.

About You

• A qualified Solicitor with over 4 years' PQE in Private Client, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong technical expertise across wills, probate, estate administration, tax planning and trusts.
• Confident managing a varied caseload independently, including more complex matters.
• Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
• A supportive team player who enjoys mentoring and assisting trainees and junior colleagues.
• Commercially aware, well organised and motivated to contribute to the ongoing success of the team.
