An opportunity worth exploring…
Sometimes the best career moves start with a conversation.
You may not be actively looking for your next role. You may be perfectly happy where you are. Or perhaps you’ve started wondering what else might be out there, what a different firm could offer, or what your next step could look like.
That’s exactly why this opportunity is worth exploring.
I’m working with a well-established Shropshire law firm with a strong local presence and reputation, which is looking to strengthen its established Crime & Licensing team through continued growth.
The Opportunity
The firm is looking to appoint one, potentially two additional members to its Crime team.
Importantly, this is growth-driven recruitment rather than a replacement hire.
That means you would be joining a department that is developing and looking to build for the future, rather than simply stepping into an existing vacancy.
The team handles a broad range of criminal defence work, including:
- Police Station representation
- Magistrates’ Court matters
- Crown Court work
- Criminal defence
- Licensing matters
You would be joining an established team with experienced practitioners around you, giving you the opportunity to develop your own career while contributing to the continued growth of the department.
Why consider it?
This could be particularly interesting if you’re looking for:
- A move into a growing Crime team
- Greater opportunity to develop your career
- A strong and established platform from which to build your practice
- A supportive team environment with experienced practitioners
- The opportunity to become part of a department with ambition for further growth
- A role where your experience and future aspirations can genuinely be explored
And perhaps most importantly, you don’t need to have made up your mind about moving before having the conversation.
A confidential chat can simply give you a better understanding of what’s available, how the team operates and whether it could offer something that your current role doesn't.
Who might this suit?
I’d be particularly keen to speak with Crime Solicitors who have experience across Police Station, Magistrates’ and/or Crown Court work, and who are open to hearing about an opportunity within a growing team.
Whether you're actively considering a move or simply curious about what else is happening in the market, I’d be happy to have a confidential conversation.
