Family Fee Earner – Divorce & Finance | Kidderminster
I’m working with an established law firm in Kidderminster looking to appoint Family Fee Earners to join its busy and well-established Family team.
This opportunity would suit a qualified Solicitor or an experienced non-qualified Fee Earner with a proven track record of billing and managing their own caseload. The firm is keen to speak with individuals who have experience in divorce and matrimonial finances, with Legal Aid experience or an interest in this area being advantageous.
The Role
You will manage your own varied caseload, advising clients on matters including:

Divorce and separation
-
Financial remedy proceedings and matrimonial finances

Property and financial disputes arising from relationship breakdown

Negotiation and settlement
-
Court proceedings
-
Children matters where appropriate
-
Legal Aid cases
You’ll provide clear, practical and empathetic advice while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering against billing expectations.
About You
-
Qualified Solicitor or experienced non-qualified Family Fee Earner
-
Strong experience in divorce and financial matters
-
Evidence of billing performance and the ability to manage your own caseload

Legal Aid experience or an interest in developing this area

Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills
-
Strong organisational skills and a client-focused approach

A team player with the ambition to develop their career
The firm is particularly interested in individuals who are commercially minded and keen to progress, with potential longer-term opportunities to develop towards partnership.
