This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 4 years’ fee-earning experience to take ownership of a private caseload and develop your expertise across a broad range of family law matters.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take initial instructions and manage your own caseload of privately funded, often complex, family law matters
  • Ensure meticulous file maintenance, compliance with procedures, and preparation of detailed attendance notes
  • Advocate confidently and attend Court hearings as required
  • Manage time recording, billing, and contribute to achieving departmental financial targets
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings and file reviews, supporting peers as needed
  • Travel between sites as necessary to meet client and business needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 4 years’ fee-earning experience within a Private Family Law department
  • Solid track record managing a private caseload, particularly in divorce, finances, and private children matters
  • Desirable: Law Society Family Law Panel membership and/or Resolution Accreditation
  • Familiarity with Lexcel standards and experience in legal aid work beneficial
  • Business development and networking skills to grow your client base
  • Friendly, personable manner with the ability to work independently
  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Case Management systems
