I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Top 200 law firm with offices across Lincolnshire and the Midlands. The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Law Solicitor or Legal Executive to join this respected firm’s forward-thinking Family Department. This role offers flexible working options and a supportive team environment.
The successful candidate will be confident, structured, and experienced across a wide range of family law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial matters/proceedings following relationship breakdown
- Private law children matters
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Cohabitation and separation agreements
You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with the marketing team to build your client base and raise the department’s profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of family matters with minimal supervision
- Provide an exceptional standard of service to existing and new clients
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Family Department
- Maintain financial control of your matters, including billing and cash flow
- Keep up to date with legal developments and regulatory requirements
- Support business development and cross-referrals across the wider firm
- Ensure compliance with the firm’s quality and risk procedures

Person Specification Essential:
- Qualified and experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Broad experience in family law including divorce, finances, and children matters
- Confident working independently and managing a caseload
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Commercially aware and client-focused
Desirable:
- Experience with high-net-worth clients, including agricultural and business interests
- Advocacy experience and public speaking skills
- Marketing and business development exposure
- A client following or established network
