My client, a full-service law firm based in a prestigious area of central London and established for over 150 years, are currently looking for an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join their team.
They are seeking someone to be responsible for residential conveyancing work allocated by the department.
The successful candidate will be involved with the full range of residential conveyancing work from initial instruction to completion.
Assisting fee-earners under supervision with certain elements of fee earning work, to include:
- Onboarding and client care correspondence to include obtaining ID, source of wealth and proof of funds information.
- Attending meetings and taking notes.
- Obtaining title documents.
- Submitting searches.
- Preparing Contract Packs.
- Preparing replies to enquiries.
- Collating documents to be included in Reports on Title.
- Preparing Stamp Duty forms.
- Preparing completion statements and invoices.
- Preparing all necessary accounts forms and understanding client ledgers.
- Preparing Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions.
- Dealing with pre?completion requisitions.
- File closing.
- Making and receiving telephone calls and dealing with routine enquiries and communications from clients and third parties
