Commercial Property Lawyer (3+ PQE) – Canterbury | Flexible & Hybrid Working

A well-regarded and long-established regional law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor or experienced Chartered Legal Executive to join its busy and successful team based in Canterbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer seeking high-quality work, strong client exposure, and a supportive environment with genuine flexibility.

The Role

You will handle a broad and interesting caseload of commercial property matters, including:

  • Sales and acquisitions of commercial property
  • Asset sales and purchases
  • Contracts conditional on planning
  • Overage and option agreements
  • Commercial lending transactions
  • Lease work (grants, assignments, and related matters)
  • Supporting property development projects

You will manage your own files from instruction through to completion and work with a diverse client base including developers, investors, lenders, occupiers, and high-net-worth individuals.

The Candidate

You will be:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Around 3+ years PQE (guideline, not essential)
  • Experienced in managing a varied commercial property caseload
  • Confident running transactions independently
  • Commercially aware and client-focused
  • Interested in business development and relationship building
  • A collaborative team player
