- £25k - 28k per year
Our client, a well-established multi-service law firm based in Preston, is continuing to grow and is looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal with at least 12 months' experience within Residential Property, who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and established legal practice.
Working alongside an experienced Fee Earner, you will provide day-to-day support across an existing residential conveyancing caseload, assisting with matters from initial instruction through to post-completion. You will play an important role in ensuring files are progressed efficiently, deadlines are met and clients receive a high level of service throughout the transaction.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with residential sales and purchases, dealing with client and third-party correspondence, preparing and reviewing documentation, progressing enquiries, liaising with solicitors and other parties, and assisting with matters through to completion and post-completion. The role will suit someone who is confident working as part of a team but is also able to manage their own workload and use their initiative.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- At least 12 months' experience working within Residential Property.
- Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
- Experience assisting with residential property files from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
- Good knowledge of the residential conveyancing process.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
In return, you will join an expanding practice where you will have the opportunity to further develop your conveyancing knowledge and build on your existing experience within a supportive team.
