This is a genuine opportunity to join a long-established criminal team with real regional strength, with solicitors also based across Rotherham and Chesterfield, and full coverage of Police Stations and Courts across South Yorkshire and beyond.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a busy, well-structured and supportive criminal defence team handling a high-quality and varied caseload, including:

• Police Station attendances (24/7 rota involvement where applicable)
• Magistrates’ Court proceedings
• Crown Court matters
• A mix of legally aided and privately funded work

This is a role where you will be trusted to run your own caseload, while still being supported by an experienced and established team.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Criminal Defence
• Confident handling your own caseload from instruction to conclusion
• Strong advocacy and communication skills
• Police Station Accreditation (desirable but not essential)
• Passionate about criminal law and client representation
