- Work on intellectually challenging and high-profile criminal cases, ranging from general criminal matters to serious sexual offences.
- Transition into private crime, taking on more complex, higher-value cases and broadening your experience beyond Legal Aid.
- Provide crucial guidance and support to clients at pivotal moments in their lives.
- Receive full mentoring and training from senior specialists – prior experience in sexual offences is not required.
- Occasional travel (around once a week) to connect with the wider criminal defence community.
- An NQ–2 PQE criminal solicitor eager to specialise in sexual offences and move into private crime.
- Empathetic, professional, and client-focused, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A proactive team player, ready to learn from some of the most experienced practitioners in the field.
- Mentoring and training from highly experienced specialists.
- Hands-on experience with serious and complex criminal cases in the private crime sector.
