Perhaps you are seeking higher-profile instructions, greater influence within a high-performing team, or a clearer route into leadership. If so, this could be the next defining step in your career.
We are exclusively supporting one of the UK’s leading Crime & Regulatory practices as they continue to strengthen their senior leadership team.
Consistently ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, this award-winning practice is instructed on some of the most significant and complex matters nationally. Their work sits at the intersection of criminal law, regulatory enforcement, public scrutiny, and reputational risk, advising regulators, professional bodies, insurers, charities, senior executives, and public sector organisations.
This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo.
It is an opportunity for a senior lawyer to play a meaningful role in shaping the continued growth and strategic direction of a highly respected practice, while working on matters that regularly attract national attention and influence public policy.
The work spans a broad and complex caseload, including:
- Professional discipline and regulatory investigations
- Complex inquests, including Article 2 proceedings
- Criminal investigations involving professionals, directors, and regulated entities
- CQC and Ofsted investigations, tribunal proceedings, and appeals
- Health & Safety and environmental prosecutions
- Representation of senior police officers in criminal, misconduct, and IOPC matters
- Judicial review and High Court appeals
Beyond the quality of work, what sets this opportunity apart is the platform it provides.
You will have the opportunity to contribute strategically to the continued growth of the team, develop and strengthen key client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and help shape the future direction of a practice already recognised as a market leader.
We are keen to speak with:
- Senior Associates ready to step into a leadership position
- Legal Directors seeking increased responsibility, profile, and strategic input
- Partners looking to join a larger platform with access to more complex, high-profile instructions
The firm offers an outstanding reputation, exceptional quality work, and a genuinely supportive environment where ambitious lawyers are encouraged to build their practice and progress their careers.
If you are seeking a role where progression is more than a title change — and where your work has genuine impact beyond the case file — we would welcome a confidential conversation.
