Our client is looking for a Private Client Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE to join its team in Ilkley. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor seeking a varied caseload, a collaborative team environment and the chance to continue developing their career within a respected legal practice.

You'll be joining a team where colleagues are encouraged to support one another, share knowledge and contribute to a friendly, professional working atmosphere.

You'll manage a varied Private Client caseload, providing clear, practical advice and delivering excellent client care throughout.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting Wills and advising on inheritance tax planning.

   

• Creating and administering trusts.

   

• Preparing Powers of Attorney and handling Court of Protection applications.

   

• Managing probate and estate administration matters.

   

• Progressing files efficiently, keeping clients updated on costs and timescales, and maintaining accurate records.

   

• Building relationships with clients, professional contacts and referrers to support the continued growth of the practice.

   

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and providing supervision and support to a Legal Assistant.

   

You'll also take responsibility for your own caseload management, billing and time recording, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest professional standards.

About you

Our client is looking for a Private Client Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE who is confident managing their own caseload and passionate about delivering a high standard of client service.

You'll bring sound technical knowledge across a range of private client matters, strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. Just as importantly, you'll be approachable, commercially aware and keen to contribute to a positive team culture.
