Private Client – Partner

  • Lincoln
  • Permanent
  • £65k - 90k per year

Been overlooked for promotion? Ready for that next step, but there's nowhere left to go in your current firm?

Let's have a conversation.

I'm working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who's ready to take the next step in their career and make a real impact.

This isn't just about changing firms and carrying on doing the same thing. It's about taking ownership, leading a team and helping shape the future of a Private Client practice.

? Bourne or Market Deeping, Lincolnshire, with flexibility to work across both offices.

What's the opportunity?

You'll join an established, highly regarded law firm at Partner level, with the autonomy to make your mark, develop client relationships and play a key role in growing the Private Client offering.

You'll be working across a varied caseload, including:

  • Wills and complex estate planning, including trusts
  • Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning
  • LPAs, EPAs and Court of Protection matters
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Supporting clients with a wide range of Private Client needs

But this role is about more than technical expertise.

They're looking for someone who wants to lead.

Someone who can support and mentor a small team, build strong relationships with clients and professional referrers, identify opportunities for growth and help drive the success of the practice at branch level.

Perhaps you're already managing a team but feel your contribution isn't being recognised.

Perhaps you've been promised progression that never quite materialises.

Or perhaps you're an experienced Private Client lawyer who knows you're ready for more responsibility, greater autonomy and the opportunity to influence how a department develops.

Whatever your situation, if you're ambitious and ready for a new challenge, this could be worth exploring.

Do you need an existing following?

It would be welcomed, but it's not essential. The firm is looking for someone with the experience, commercial awareness and ambition to help grow the practice - not simply someone who can bring a client list through the door.

And the culture?

They take their work seriously, support their people and value a positive team environment. They're looking for someone who can bring leadership, professionalism and a bit of personality to the role. After all, we spend enough time at work - we should enjoy the people we work with!

Interested in finding out what your next step could look like?

You don't need to be actively job hunting to have a conversation. Sometimes it's simply about understanding what opportunities are out there and whether there's a firm that can offer you the progression you've been waiting for.
