I'm currently working with a growing law firm in Manchester that is looking to recruit a Real Estate Finance Solicitor to join its expanding team.
This is a great opportunity for a solicitor with experience in real estate finance, secured lending or a strong commercial property background who is looking to develop their expertise in a supportive environment, working on high-quality transactions with a varied client base.
The Role
You'll be advising lenders, borrowers, investors and developers on a range of commercial and residential property finance transactions, managing matters from instruction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on secured lending transactions involving commercial and residential property.
- Acting for banks, alternative lenders, borrowers, investors and developers.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating security documents.
- Undertaking title due diligence and reporting on title.
- Managing transactions, conditions precedent and completion requirements.
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development.
What They're Looking For
- A qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, ideally with around 5 years' PQE.
- Experience in real estate finance or secured lending, or a strong commercial property background with an interest in moving into finance work.
- Strong technical, drafting and communication skills.
- A commercially minded approach and the ability to manage your own caseload.
