SEND Solicitors – is it time for a fresh challenge?

I'm keen to speak with Education / SEND Solicitors who are looking for an opportunity to take ownership of their own caseload, develop their Tribunal experience and become part of a specialist team doing genuinely meaningful work.

I'm working with a firm in the Greater Manchester area that is looking to strengthen its Education team with the appointment of an experienced SEND Solicitor.

This isn't simply about handling a busy caseload. It's an opportunity to build on your existing expertise, take responsibility for your own matters and play an important role in helping children, young people and families secure the educational support they are entitled to.

What will you be doing?

You'll be handling a varied caseload of Education and SEND matters, including:

  • Advising parents and families on SEND rights and disputes

  • Challenging decisions made by local authorities and other public bodies

  • Managing SEND Tribunal matters from start to finish

  • Preparing appeals, evidence and Tribunal documentation

  • Undertaking advocacy and representing clients where required

  • Building strong relationships with clients and providing clear, practical advice throughout the process

Who would be a good fit?

You'll ideally be a qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE and demonstrable experience in Education / SEND law, particularly SEND Tribunal work.

You'll be confident managing your own matters, comfortable dealing directly with clients and passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for the families you represent.
