I'm working with a highly regarded, long-established law firm looking to welcome an experienced Trusts Lawyer to its team in Stamford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already specialises in Trusts, or an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive who has a genuine interest in Trusts and is keen to develop their expertise in this area.
What will you be working on?
You'll work closely with the Head of Trusts and another Partner, advising on a varied and interesting caseload, including:
- Trust creation, administration and termination
- Trust deeds, documentation, tax returns and accounts
- HMRC Trust Registration Service
- Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning
- Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief
- Declarations of Trust
- Wills involving trusts and more complex estate planning
- Supporting with estate administration where required
You'll also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments, build client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the Trusts team.

Who would suit this role?
A Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in Trusts and tax matters, or an experienced Private Client lawyer looking to specialise further. A STEP qualification is welcome, but a willingness to work towards it is also encouraged.
