As a key member of our Crime Department, you will:
- Manage and prepare a diverse criminal defence caseload
- Advise clients at the police station, Magistrates’ Court, and Crown Court
- Work on both legal aid and private client matters
- Prepare cases for trial and appeals in higher courts
- Participate in the out-of-hours rota
- Build your own client following
- Collaborate with a team of experienced, passionate lawyers in a collegiate environment

- Have strong academic credentials
- Be client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate genuine interest and commitment to criminal defence and access to justice

- Duty status and Higher Rights of Audience are advantageous but not essential
