We're working with a highly regarded and well-established Oxfordshire law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor (5–10 years' PQE) to join its team in Abingdon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Solicitor who enjoys taking ownership, developing client relationships and playing an active role in growing a successful practice.

With an established presence across Oxfordshire, the firm is keen to strengthen its Commercial Property offering across the Abingdon and Didcot areas, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to combine quality legal work with genuine business development opportunities.

THE ROLE

You'll be responsible for managing your own Commercial Property caseload while playing an important part in the continued growth and development of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied Commercial Property caseload.
• Providing high-quality, commercially focused legal advice.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities across Abingdon and Didcot.
• Raising the profile of the office within the local business community.
• Developing relationships with local businesses and professional contacts to generate new work.
• Working closely with senior management and the wider team on business development initiatives.
• Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the department.

You'll be given the opportunity to work with a good degree of autonomy, with the support of an established and supportive firm behind you.

ABOUT YOU

We're keen to hear from Commercial Property Solicitors who:

• Have 5–10 years' PQE in Commercial Property.
• Have strong technical knowledge and experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters.
• Are confident managing their own caseload.
• Have a strong commercial mindset and an interest in business development.
• Enjoy networking, building relationships and generating new opportunities.
• Are keen to develop the firm's presence across the local market.
• Are proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously.
• Take a professional, diligent and client-focused approach to their work.

We're particularly interested in candidates who want to take their career beyond fee earning and play an active role in developing and growing a successful local practice.
