Are you a Newly Qualified Solicitor with a passion for employment law and a commitment to achieving justice for individuals? We’re working with a well-regarded firm in Leeds that is seeking a talented and enthusiastic NQ Employment Solicitor to join their dynamic Employment Law team.
About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking firm that has built a strong reputation for representing individuals in a wide range of employment matters. You will be handling a predominantly Claimant-focused caseload, covering issues such as:
- Unfair dismissal
- Discrimination
- Redundancy and settlement agreements
- Whistleblowing
- TUPE and contractual disputes
You’ll have the chance to work on high-quality cases, often involving complex and sensitive issues, with the full support of experienced senior solicitors and partners.
What We’re Looking For:
- A newly qualified solicitor (or due to qualify in the next 3 months)
- Strong interest and experience in employment law, ideally with previous exposure to claimant work during training
- Excellent client care skills and a proactive, empathetic approach
- A keen eye for detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
- A team player who is eager to develop and grow within a thriving department
