Are you an experienced compliance professional looking to take the next step in your legal career? Our client, a leading law firm based in Manchester, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Analyst to join their Risk and Compliance team.

The Role: As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the firm meets its regulatory obligations and maintains high standards of professional conduct. Working closely with the Head of Compliance and wider legal teams, you will provide practical support on a broad range of compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with client due diligence and anti-money laundering (AML) checks
- Conducting file audits and compliance reviews
- Monitoring and reporting on regulatory and risk issues
- Supporting internal training and compliance initiatives
- Maintaining and updating compliance policies and procedures
- Assisting with regulatory filings and SRA-related matters
- Handling data protection and confidentiality queries
About You:
- Previous experience in a compliance, risk, or regulatory role within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong understanding of AML regulations, SRA Code of Conduct, and GDPR
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Experience with compliance systems and document management tools is desirable
