As a key member of our Crime Department, you will:

• Manage and prepare a diverse criminal defence caseload
• Advise clients at the police station, Magistrates’ Court, and Crown Court
• Work on both legal aid and private client matters
• Prepare cases for trial and appeals in higher courts
• Participate in the out-of-hours rota
• Build your own client following
• Collaborate with a team of experienced, passionate lawyers in a collegiate environment

• Be client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills

• Duty status and Higher Rights of Audience are advantageous but not essential
