Employment Solicitor – Up to 2 Years PQE
Location: Leeds

Are you an ambitious Employment Solicitor with up to 2 years’ post-qualification experience, ready to take the next step in your legal career? We have an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected team in Leeds, where you will play a key role in supporting trade union and professional association members, as well as private clients.
The Role:
You will manage your own caseload of employment matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation on a wide range of issues. The work will include pursuing claims in the Employment Tribunals and higher courts, with a particular focus on industrial relations and employment law matters affecting trade union members and individual clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied caseload of employment tribunal and court cases
- Advising clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues
- Drafting legal documentation and preparing cases for hearings
- Representing clients at tribunal and court hearings where appropriate
- Liaising with trade unions, professional associations, and other stakeholders
About You:
- Up to 2 years’ PQE as a qualified solicitor with experience in employment law
- Confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- A strong advocate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to client care and achieving the best possible outcomes
- Experience with trade union clients or an interest in industrial relations is highly desirable
