Personal Injury Associate / Team Leader
Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office, including two Wednesdays per month for team meeting and file clinic)
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 DOE + excellent benefits

The Opportunity

This role offers the best of both worlds: a quality caseload spanning Employers’ Liability, Public Liability, Occupiers’ Liability, and RTA matters, together with a leadership role supporting and mentoring colleagues as the team expands. You’ll handle work across Portal, Intermediate Track, and Multi-Track levels, while playing a key part in shaping processes and contributing to a positive, supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Manage a quality caseload of approximately 110–130 EL/PL/OL/RTA files
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and training to a small but growing team
  • Contribute to process improvement and support the integration of new team members
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional client service
  • Attend monthly in-person team meetings and work two days per week in the Manchester office

What they’re Looking For
 

  • Qualified solicitor with 6–12 years’ PQE
  • Strong technical experience in Multi-Track and Intermediate Track personal injury claims
  • Confident managing a mixed caseload of EL/PL, OL, and RTA files
  • A natural and approachable leader who enjoys mentoring others and working collaboratively
  • Someone commercially aware, values-driven, and eager to progress within a growing firm
