The Role

You'll manage your own varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, acting on behalf of clients pursuing claims against NHS trusts, private healthcare providers, consultants, and GP practices.

Working within an experienced and supportive team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing clinical negligence files from inception through to conclusion
  • Advising and supporting clients throughout the litigation process
  • Handling claims involving NHS bodies, private consultants, and GP practices
  • Delivering exceptional standards of client care
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for clients
  • Maintaining accurate records and progressing matters efficiently using case management systems

This role offers exposure to a broad range of clinical negligence work while providing the support and autonomy needed to continue developing your expertise.

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Qualified Solicitor status with a minimum of 3 years' PQE
  • Previous experience handling claimant clinical negligence matters
  • The ability to independently manage a caseload
  • Strong litigation and technical skills
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence using case management systems and legal technology
  • Experience using Proclaim would be advantageous, although not essential
