An established law firm with a strong local presence is looking to add a Commercial Property Fee Earner to its property team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced commercial property professional who is confident managing matters, dealing directly with clients and taking ownership of their workload. Qualification is not essential. We're looking for someone with solid commercial property experience who can hit the ground running and contribute to a growing team.

The Role

You'll handle a varied range of commercial property matters, working closely with individuals and business clients on transactions tailored to their particular requirements.

The work will include:

• Commercial property sales and purchases
• Commercial leases and lease-related matters
• Acquisitions and disposals
• Freehold and leasehold transactions
• Acting for small businesses on their property requirements
• Drafting and reviewing leases, contracts and other property documentation
• Dealing with searches, enquiries and title matters
• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors
• Managing transactions through to exchange and completion
• Handling post-completion requirements
• Managing your own caseload and ensuring matters progress efficiently

The wider firm also advises businesses on commercial and property-related disputes, so the role sits within a broader commercial offering rather than operating in isolation.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience within commercial property
• Is confident managing their own caseload
• Can deal directly with clients and other professionals
• Has experience across sales, purchases and commercial leases
• Is proactive in progressing matters and resolving issues
• Has strong attention to detail and organisation
• Can manage competing deadlines and priorities
• Takes pride in delivering a personal, responsive service
• Does not need to be qualified, provided they have the relevant commercial property experience

The Opportunity

You'll be joining an established local practice with a client-focused approach and the opportunity to take ownership of a varied commercial property caseload.

The role would suit someone who enjoys having direct client contact and wants to work on practical commercial property matters for businesses, rather than being limited to one narrow area of work.
