Conveyancing Paralegal - Macclesfield

A well-regarded law firm in the Macclesfield area is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join its established and busy residential property team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced fee earners while taking ownership of your own sales files and supporting a broad range of residential conveyancing matters. You will gain exposure to high-quality work within a supportive and collaborative environment with genuine opportunities for development.

The successful candidate will be capable of independently managing residential sales files from instruction through to completion, while also assisting with purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new build transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as a first point of contact for new and existing clients by telephone and in person.

Managing your own residential sales files independently and ensuring matters progress efficiently.

Supporting fee earners with more complex transactions and maintaining excellent standards of client care throughout the conveyancing process.

Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors to ensure transactions proceed smoothly.

Preparing legal documentation and correspondence and assisting with exchanges and completions.

Undertaking AML and client due diligence checks and ensuring compliance procedures are followed.

Using the firm's case management system and digital workflow tools to manage matters efficiently and maintain accurate records.

About You

You will have a minimum of 12 months' experience within residential conveyancing and be confident handling residential sales files with minimal supervision. Experience supporting a broader caseload of conveyancing matters would be advantageous.

You will possess strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a professional yet personable approach to client care. Strong communication skills are essential, and experience with Proclaim or other case management systems would be beneficial but is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Paralegal looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established property team, with exposure to quality work and genuine progression opportunities.

If you're ready to join a large, supportive and well-established team, please submit your CV to Tracy Carlisle at Clayton Legal by emailing t.carlisle@clayton-legal.co.uk.
