Court of Protection Solicitor

An established law firm in Greater Manchester is looking to appoint an experienced Solicitor or FCILEx to join its expanding Court of Protection team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior legal professional who enjoys handling complex Court of Protection matters and is looking to join a collaborative team where they can make a genuine impact. Alongside managing a varied caseload, you'll have the chance to support the development of junior colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the department.

The Opportunity

You'll take responsibility for your own caseload of Court of Protection matters, including complex and strategic cases, with the autonomy to manage litigated matters where appropriate. Working alongside experienced solicitors and paralegals, you'll play an important role in delivering an excellent service to clients while helping to shape the future direction of the team.

This role would suit someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge, supervising junior team members and getting involved in business development and networking activities.

About You

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

• Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with at least 8 years' PQE
• Extensive experience handling Court of Protection matters
• The ability to manage a complex caseload independently
• Experience dealing with high-value or strategic cases
• Previous supervisory experience, or an interest in mentoring junior colleagues
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• A proactive approach to supporting the continued growth of the department
