Family Solicitor

An opportunity has arisen for Family Solicitors at different stages of their careers to join a busy and supportive family law team. You will deal with a range of family law matters, with a particular focus on children work, within a team that values strong client relationships, quality legal advice and a practical approach to achieving the best outcomes.

The role will involve:

• Managing a caseload of public and private family law matters.
• Handling care proceedings and child protection cases.
• Advising on private children matters and related court proceedings.
• Dealing with divorce, financial remedy and domestic abuse matters where required.
• Preparing cases and representing clients at court hearings.
• Contributing to the continued development of the family law department.

What they're looking for:

• A qualified Solicitor with experience in family law.
• A background in public law children work, with care proceedings experience particularly desirable.
• Experience handling Legal Aid family matters would be advantageous.
• A proactive approach and a genuine interest in developing within family law.
