A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Family Law Solicitor with 1–5 years’ PQE to join a growing and highly regarded specialist family law practice in Southampton.

The Role
You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload with appropriate support, advising clients across a broad range of family matters.
The role will involve:
- Managing your own family law caseload
- Advising clients both in person and remotely
- Conducting your own advocacy
- Taking part in in-person round table negotiations
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Developing your own professional network and profile
- Contributing to the growth and reputation of the wider practice
The firm is particularly interested in candidates who have an interest in constructive NCDR. Experience or training in areas such as collaborative law, mediation, One Couple One Lawyer or arbitration would be advantageous, although a genuine willingness to develop these skills will also be considered.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1–5 years’ PQE in family law
- A solid grounding across family law matters
- The confidence to manage their own caseload
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- A professional, accurate and organised approach
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- A genuine interest in NCDR and constructive approaches to resolving family disputes
- An empathetic and client-centred approach
