An established and growing law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its busy New Build Residential Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-structured team environment.
Working as part of a sizeable residential property department of around 30 professionals, you will provide dedicated support to a Residential Property Solicitor, primarily on a 1:1 basis, with occasional support to a second fee earner during periods of annual leave.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative and legal support to a Residential Property Solicitor
- Assisting with New Build residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, developers, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors
- Managing files and ensuring compliance procedures are followed
- Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Supporting the wider team as required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience within a residential conveyancing or property department
- Experience supporting a conveyancer or residential property solicitor
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client care abilities
- The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
