An established and growing law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its busy New Build Residential Property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-structured team environment.

Working as part of a sizeable residential property department of around 30 professionals, you will provide dedicated support to a Residential Property Solicitor, primarily on a 1:1 basis, with occasional support to a second fee earner during periods of annual leave.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative and legal support to a Residential Property Solicitor
  • Assisting with New Build residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, developers, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors
  • Managing files and ensuring compliance procedures are followed
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Supporting the wider team as required

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a residential conveyancing or property department
  • Experience supporting a conveyancer or residential property solicitor
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and client care abilities
  • The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach
