I’m working with a leading international law firm looking to appoint a Practice Development Lawyer (PDL) into their Real Estate team.

Given how candidate-short the PDL market is, the team are open-minded - this could suit an experienced Real Estate lawyer looking to step away from fee earning, or an established PDL ready for a new platform.

✨ The Role

A strategic, high-impact position supporting the wider Real Estate group:

• Advising on technical legal queries
• Leading on legal research and tracking developments
• Producing client briefings and thought leadership
• Delivering training (internal & client-facing)
• Managing and evolving precedents and know-how
• Drafting practice notes
• Supporting innovation and process improvement projects
• Working closely with fee earners to stay aligned with the market
• Identifying and mitigating risk issues
• Managing third-party providers

 About You

• England & Wales qualified with strong Real Estate experience
• Existing PDL/PSL experience or a genuine interest in moving into a knowledge role
• Experience contributing to know-how, training or client content
• Commercially aware with a strong understanding of the property market
• Confident collaborating across teams and seniority levels
