Private Client Solicitor

We're working with a well-established and growing law firm who are looking to strengthen their Private Client team in Leamington Spa with the appointment of an experienced Private Client Solicitor.

This is a great opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys building strong client relationships, taking ownership of their own caseload and playing an active role in the continued growth of a successful Private Client department.

The Role

You'll be managing your own caseload of Private Client matters, providing a high-quality, client-focused service from instruction through to completion.

Your role will include:

• Managing your own caseload of Private Client matters from instruction through to completion.
• Providing clear, practical and commercially-minded advice to clients.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional referrers.
• Identifying opportunities to develop existing and new client relationships.
• Working closely with assistants and paralegals, supporting their development where appropriate.
• Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently, within agreed timescales and in a cost-effective manner.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date files using case management systems.
• Managing billing, cash flow and monies on account across your matters.
• Contributing to the wider growth of the Private Client department through networking and business development activities.
• Keeping up to date with changes and developments across Private Client law.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor with a proven track record of managing their own caseload.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience working within a Private Client department.
• Strong technical knowledge across Private Client law.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively.
• A commercially-minded approach and an understanding of financial targets.
• Strong organisational and IT skills, ideally with experience using case management systems.
• A genuine interest in developing relationships with clients and professional referrers.
• A proactive approach to business development and networking.
