Salary up to £50,000 plus bonus

A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Macclesfield is seeking an experienced Residential Solicitor to join its busy and expanding property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong conveyancer looking to join a supportive and forward-thinking team with genuine opportunities for progression.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ PQE and will be confident managing a high-volume and varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. You will possess strong technical knowledge across the full residential transaction lifecycle and be able to work independently while maintaining exceptional standards of client care and regulatory compliance.

A sound understanding of AML requirements and client due diligence obligations is essential. The firm operates within a technology-driven environment, therefore strong IT skills are a must. Experience of using Proclaim case management software, digital onboarding platforms, document automation tools and workflow processes would be highly advantageous. Candidates should be comfortable maintaining accurate electronic records and adhering to established procedures designed to promote efficiency, compliance and risk management.

You will be an organised and commercially aware Solicitor with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and the ability to contribute positively to departmental performance objectives.

In return, the firm offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 together with a bonus scheme and an excellent benefits package. Benefits include 29 days' annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, increasing with length of service, your birthday off, gifted Christmas holidays and a "Star of the Month" day off. Employees also benefit from a 4x Death in Service scheme, Westfield Healthcare Cash Plan, Employee Assistance Programme and a pension with a 5% employer contribution, with salary sacrifice available where eligible.

Additional perks include staff discounts, 5* Trustpilot Review holidays and convenient on-street parking. Following an initial office-based induction period, hybrid working is available, with two days working from home and three days in the office for experienced hires.
