I'm currently looking to speak with experienced RTA Fast Track Fee Earners who are considering their next opportunity and would like to join a friendly, supportive and well-established Non-MOJ Car Team.

If you're someone who enjoys taking ownership of your caseload, tackling challenging liability disputes, and using your negotiation skills to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients, this could be a great opportunity for you!

The role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload of RTA pre and post-litigation non-portal claims, where you'll have the opportunity to utilise your technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and litigation experience.

What will you be getting involved in?

You'll have responsibility for managing your own caseload from initial assessment through to settlement or transfer to litigation, with a strong focus on delivering excellent client service.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a high-volume caseload of RTA pre and post-litigation non-portal claims.
• Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their claims are progressed in their best interests.
• Handling complex liability disputes, including motorcycle claims and denials of liability, with minimal supervision.
• Assessing quantum, reviewing medical evidence, and researching case law for complex multi-site injuries.
• Preparing schedules of special damages and assessing appropriate compensation for pain, suffering, and loss of amenity.
• Negotiating with third parties to secure the best possible settlements for clients.
• Identifying litigation opportunities and progressing claims strategically.
• Drafting court proceedings, completing directions questionnaires, and managing court deadlines.
• Preparing disclosure documents, dealing with telephone hearings, submitting evidence, and instructing Counsel and other experts where required.

What experience will you need?

I'm keen to hear from candidates who have:

• Previous experience managing their own caseload of RTA pre-litigation claims.
• A good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail.
• Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Confident negotiation skills and the ability to think tactically.
• The ability to work independently while also being a great team player.
• A genuine interest in developing their knowledge and progressing professionally.

Being a qualified Solicitor or CILEX professional with additional practising rights would be desirable.
